ABOUT US:

   Imani Farms is located in Northwestern Minnesota in what’s known as the

Northern  Red River Valley.  Our land is one of the most fertile soils in the world.  It is black,  flat and incredibly productive.   For  this  reason, we live here.  Farming is our Life.

 

Horses are my Passion.

 

Our goal here at Imani Farms is simple.  To breed, raise and market pretty horses that will fit into your program whether it is a family horse, show horse or breeding stock.      We hope our clients will get as much satisfaction from their horses as we do here at Imani Farms.

 

 

My husband (Carlton) and I  have two boys.  Ages 25 and 22.  They have both attended college and have decided to come back to our community and farm.  Good thing we all get along..  Our family history comes from a long line of farmers and it seems to be in their blood.

They help with the horses, but they really love cars, pickups, tractors, snowmobiles, and girls.

 My husband is very supportive of my addiction and says he is my silent partner.  But it seems when I get to many horses, he always has something to say.

We have some of the most extreme seasonal changes.

In the winter, we have snow and can get down to –30

with wind chills down to –50 below.   In summer, we can be very hot and humid.  Usually 80-100 degrees.

It is said that we are whiter in the winter and greener in the summer than anywhere on earth.   It can be very hard to understand why we live here, but for us it is home.   Really though, it can be very beautiful!
